Greetings,

What is your story of how you came to be a believer and truster in the one true God?
I was rebellious most of my childhood, and right up to my seventeenth year. It was then that the Lord hit me with the proverbial two-by-four and I realized how far I actually was from Him. I dedicated my life to the Lord and His service, but it is still not the end of the road for me. I am still learning to war for the Lord and not for myself, and the road of sanctification is a long and arduous one.

How has He impacted and moved in your life?
The Lord has set me free from a bondage to sin that was horribly evil and dark. He gave me mercy and grace in my darkened pit, and lifted me up to a relationship with Him and a hope of greater things.

What are you doing for Him?
I am now trying to help others see the light that I found. I have dedicated my passion to His service in bringing others to liberty from bondage to sin and from slavery from political tyranny.

With joy and peace and victory in Christ,
Jay Lauser

What is your story of how you came to be a believer and truster in the one true God?

At around five years old, I had just moved to NC from Chigago and where going to a church near our apartment we where staying in. and one day after the massage when we went back home I asked my parents what salvation really meant. then later, I accepted Christ as my LORD and SAVOIR.

How has He impacted and moved in your life?

He has impacted my life by showing some of my future and changing my life by setting me free from slavery of sin.

What are you doing for Him?

Trying everyday to read the Bible, pray everyday, resist temptation everyday, and to keep looking forward towards His goal for me.

I also was saved at a really young age... I can't even remember exactly. But growing up in a conservative, christian home, it was easy for me to be the "good kid".

About a year ago... Laying in my bed one night, I just realized how utterly self-delusional I was. Sure, I followed all the rules, did everything right... but did I really care? Did I have a relationship with God?
Before that, being a Christian was just so easy. You wake up, say the quick little prayer so you don't feel bad all day, and then go off and be a good person. But I realized that what I was wasn't Christian, but apathetic. I wanted God's gift, but I didn't want to care about him.

I still struggle with this today... I don't struggle with faith, or doing the right thing... but I just struggle with giving God the time He deserves. I'm trying a lot harder though. Anyway, that's my testimony... I guess. Idk. Its more like a short story on my relationship with God. When I hear the word testimony I tend to think of some crazy story where you are a drug addict then you come to Christ..... mine is rather boring :P
Speaking of redeemed drug addicts, any of you baseball fans? Josh Hamilton is one of the best witnesses I have ever seen in the baseball world... Look him up if you don't know who I am talking about.

What is your story of how you came to be a believer and truster in the one true God?
Well, let's see. I also was saved at a very young age, and have grown up in a very protected, conservative, Christian home, (for which I am VERY thankful!). As I have gotten into my upper teen years, I have grown closer to Christ and have seen how I cannot live a righteous life without Him and how He must work in me to make me more like himself.

How has He impacted and moved in your life?
He has showed me that I need to be kinder to my younger siblings, (I'm the second oldest of 7), and that I need to be more obedient to my parents. He's also showed me that I need to do things without complaining, and I suppose that includes research papers and Physics tests . . . Very Happy He really has helped me to curb complaining.

What are you doing for Him?
I am learning how to cook and keep house so I can be a good wife to whomever God has for me to marry.

What is your story of how you came to be a believer and truster in the one true God?

Three years ago, after moving towns and schools for the fifth time, I couldn't take the dullness of life anymore. The school was full of nasty kids and the teachers were afraid to even meantion the Bible. That got me thinking, so I investigated what it was everyone seemed to be unwilling to talk about. I found the One True Savior then and my eyes were open to see all the darkness I had been living in around me.

How has He impacted and moved in your life?

He has impacted my life a great deal. Somehow, through all the moving, He placed me in a school that taught from the Worldview position and the Biblical position. He has given me the opportunities to profess my faith to everyone around me by gifting me with influence on a many people. He has changed my life so incrediably from the darkness that surrounded me just three years ago.

What are you doing for Him?

Living a life in Him and letting others see His light through my actions and words.

What is your story of how you came to be a believer and truster in the one true God?

I live in a Christian home, so I have always known about God and the Bible and the plan of Salvation. This all became personal for me when I was about 11, when I accepted Christ as my Saviour and repented of my sins. Since then, I have been growing and learning.

How has He impacted and moved in your life?

In many ways... showing me my sin, giving me strength, bringing great books and friends into my life who have helped me to grow closer to Him, giving me a greater appreciation for what He has done for me... I know there's more, but that's all I can think of at the moment.

What are you doing for Him?

I am glorifying God by doing my daily things every day and doing them well, by dressing in a way that (I hope) shows people that I am His, being kind and helpful to my siblings, helping my parents, being grateful to Him for His many blessings, singing sometimes, writing posts that show others how valuable God is to me, leading a Bright Lights group.
